One of my favourite brands, simplehuman have just launched a magnificent sensor mirror that I absolutely adore. This mirror is unlike any other mirror I have tried before and I do not know how I did without it. One of my favourite features about this amazing sensor mirror is that it has a tru-lux light system that simulates natural sunlight, allowing you to see full colour variation, so you’ll know when your makeup is colour-correct and flawless.
At 600 lux, the tru-lux light system is more than twice as bright as the next best. The light from surgical-grade LEDs is dispersed evenly with a unique pattern of micro-reflectors throughout the ring so there is no light loss or hot spots. Having used the mirror to apply my own make-up, I can definitely see a difference in the amount of makeup I now apply and in some cases, I have changed the shade of colour I use. The tru-lux light is brilliant for showing me what my make-up looks like in natural light. I used to have to use my bathroom mirror to apply makeup, as that is the room with the most natural light. However now I can apply my make up in any room, in complete comfort as this amazing mirror simulates natural light perfectly.
The sensor mirror also uses long lasting LEDs rather than traditional bulbs or fluorescent lighting. These LEDs won’t burn out or diminish even after many years of regular use. This therefore means you will never have to change the bulb. Another great feature is that the sensor mirror lights up automatically as your face approaches it.
It also has fabulous intelligent multi-sense. This multi-sense technology reacts and adapts to your behaviour. It becomes more sensitive when you are using it, so it won’t turn off unexpectedly. It also knows when you have finished using the mirror and shuts off automatically. A very clever feature. When I used this mirror I also noticed that it didn’t distort my face when I looked into it- which is a downside to some other mirrors I have tried in the past. This simplehuman sensor mirror has precise curvature so is distortion-free.
It also has optimum magnification. It has 5x magnification that provides exceptional detail while still allowing me to see my entire face at once. The sensor mirror is extremely comfortable to use. This is due to the fact it has maximum adjustability. The mirror can tilt back fully so you always have a clear, comfortable view, even if you are using it standing up. The height of the mirror can also be adjusted to ensure complete comfort.
The adjustable height is very convenient especially if more than one person in the home will use the mirror. Not only does the simplehuman sensor mirror work fabulously but is also looks stylish and elegant. The mirror is made of high quality glass and is backed by high-purity aluminium coating.
It is also cordless, so if you are like me and like things clutter free, this mirror is perfect. The mirror is also rechargeable and recharges using a standard USB port (the cable and plug adapter are included). One charge lasts up to 5 weeks with moderate use. Conveniently the indicator ring will glow red when the mirror needs to be recharged so you are given plenty of warning before the power goes.
The simplehuman sensor mirror is superb and I would highly recommend purchasing one. It is the best lighted mirror I have used and it looks absolutely amazing. A must buy.
