To get started, you have to simply type in your age, height and if you are male or female. You then step on the scales and your weight is measured. You can then scroll through the monitor to read all the measurements it has taken on you. I found this information extremely useful as I got a better understanding of my overall health, not just my weight. Being more aware of these measurements also made me change my lifestyle slightly too. Initially my water percentage was low, so I now make sure I drink more each day to keep my water percentage up.
