25 Jan iFit Classic
The iFit Classic is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for anyone who is fitness focussed and who takes care of both their health and wellbeing.
When I received this fitness tracker to review, the first thing I noticed was how stylish it looked. The iFit Classic is an analogue watch that has three sub-dials built-in that display daily activity metrics. This analogue watch has a timeless look and will compliment any outfit, whether you are in your workout gear or going out for an evening, this watch looks fabulous. I loved that this watch looked so stylish as I am a big fan of fitness trackers and I knew I could wear it wherever I was and knew it would look great with whatever outfit I wore. The watch is quite chunky as it has everything built into it, but it still looks stylish and it has a soft, sporty wristband that is very comfortable to wear.
The iFit Classic is an activity tracker with some great features. It can sync with iFit technology so the iFit Classic acts like a personal trainer on the wrist as it offers you advice on your daily activity, diet and sleep. This activity tracker detects and tracks your all day activity including your steps, distance, calories burned and sleep, with MoveReady Technology. I thought this was great and loved that the iFit Classic would take my daily data, along with information from a range of other iFit-ready devices and then personalise suggestions to make my lifestyle healthier. It would also send me vibration alerts if I had not been active for a while to remind me that I needed to get up and move!
The iFit Classic also offers smartphone notifications and iFit app connectivity. The iFit Classic can be paired with iOS devices (iphone 4s and later) and Android devices (Android 4.3 and later). Once the watch is paired with a device you will be able to customise the settings for the watch, enter and track information and set goals, all from the iFit app.
The iFit Classic is very easy to use. There are three dials on the watch face; a net calorie subdial, a daily step subdial and a calorie input subdial. I loved that on the watch I could manually enter my calories for the day to help me track my daily calorie intake (this could have been entered by the iFit app as well). I also thought it was great that my daily step count was automatically calculated and recorded by the watch so I could keep track of how many steps I was taking each day. The number of net calories was also automatically calculated based on the calories I manually entered, the number of daily steps I had taken and the number of calories I had burned throughout the day. The net calories subdial clearly displayed this information for me. All your data can be retained on the watch for up to 30 days. If the watch is not synced to the iFit app after 30 days, the oldest daily data file will be deleted to make room for new files.
The iFit Classic is a fantastic way to keep track of your daily activity and your calorie intake making it easier for you to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is a fabulous gift that anyone would love to receive this Valentine’s Day.
