26 May K5 Premium Full Control Home Pressure Washer
I am a huge fan of Kärcher and was very excited to test the K5 Premium Full Control Home Pressure Washer. I know how good the Kärcher products are and wanted to see if this K5 pressure washer lives up to the Kärcher name- I can honestly say it does.
The K5 Premium Full Control is the perfect pressure washer for cleaning large surfaces around your home. Whether you are cleaning patios, decking, cars, wheelie bins or garden furniture, the K5 Premium is a must have. It cleans brilliantly and is extremely easy to use.
A fantastic feature of the K5 is the full control system. This system helps you achieve the best ever results as you can choose the correct spray lance based on the surface you are cleaning. There are three pressure levels and a detergent setting and the pressure can be regulated by simply twisting the Vario Power spray lance until the desired level is shown. The LED display on the trigger gun clearly shows you what pressure setting you are on and allows you to check you are using the correct setting.
The K5 also has a T350 Patio Cleaner that allows you to clean large areas quickly and efficiently. It is also splash-free and includes adjustable cleaning pressure for different surfaces. I thought the T350 was brilliant as it cleaned my patio extremely well and cleaned it much quicker than when I use a standard spray lance. I also used the Stone cleaner that came with the K5 and loved how clean my patio looked after using this. This stone detergent also helps protect the stone surfaces.
The K5 is very easy to store and the high-pressure hose can be quickly and easily wound onto the hose reel. This hose reel is on the back of the unit which means you will be set up and ready to clean in no time by unwinding automatically as you pull on the high-pressure hose. The Full Control trigger gun and spray lances can also be stored on the pressure washer to save space.
The K5 Premium Full Control also allows for quick and easy application of detergents. When in detergent mode, the Plug and Clean detergent can be replaced quickly and easily with one simple movement. Kärcher detergents increase efficiency while cleaning, help prevent dirt from returning and help to protect and care for your surface.
This K5 premium is a fantastic pressure washer and I would definitely recommend this jet washer. Like all other Kärcher pressure washers, the K5 cleans perfectly and is very easy to use. I also loved the compact storage.
The RRP for the K5 Premium Model is £449.99 and it is available from www.kaercher.com. The K5 Premium Model comes with a 5 year warranty.
I have also used the Karcher K5 to clean my barbecue and it cleans it brilliantly. I usually spend ages scrubbing away at the barbeque grill but by using the K5 you can clean your barbeque with ease.
To celebrate National BBQ Kärcher have carried out some research around Brits and their BBQs. Have a read at their findings below and you will see that the Karcher K5 is perfect to use this BBQ season.
Brits Are a Nation of Dirty BBQers
Whilst Brits will be getting their grills out this bank holiday weekend, a new study has revealed that we are a nation of dirty barbecuers, with almost half (46 per cent) of us willing to cook on a surface that has only been ‘cleaned’ by scraping fat off with tongues or by using the flames to cook it off.
The study, by home cleaning innovators Kärcher, found that Brits are so keen to get the barbecue going without giving it a proper scrub that a shocking 3 per cent of us will let our cats or dogs lick it clean instead.
When the sun starts to shine, a third of us (32 per cent) perceive our garden as a second living room with 40 per cent cleaning their garden weekly. However, the BBQ is neglected with 30 per cent of people only cleaning it up to twice a year 5 per cent have never cleaned their BBQ grill.
What Brits lack in cleanliness they make up for in determination, with 80 per cent willing to persevere with our BBQ plans regardless of bad weather an important quality with heavy rain forecast for this Bank Holiday Sunday.
The study found that should a downpour occur once the barbecue has already begun, six in 10 (60 per cent) would carry on cooking regardless. Even Storm Katie would struggle to stop brave Brits, with one in 10 (11 per cent) claiming they would continue with their BBQ despite 96mph winds, hailstones the size of golf balls (11 per cent) or a big freeze (13 per cent).
Nigel Scott, Sales & Marketing Director for Kärcher UK said: “We know that as a nation we are passionate about our BBQs and want to get them fired up at every opportunity. Despite this, we do not extend that passion to actually cleaning our BBQs thoroughly which can have adverse effects on both the taste of the food and people’s health, either of which can ruin the day.”
