27 Aug Liberation Fairtrade Nuts
Liberation Foods are the UK’s first Fairtrade and farmer owned nut company. Liberation is passionately nuts about Fair Trade, the livelihoods of its farmers and providing the best tasting product. Their peanuts come from Nicaragua and Malawi and their cashews all the way from India. All nuts are oven roasted to bring out that extra nutty taste and extra crunchy crunch.
Liberation have launched two great tasting snacks:
Oven baked Chilli & Lime Cashews with Peanuts & Roasted Corn
These nuts are inspired by the colour and flavour of street food in Latin America. The sweet cashew nuts are coated in a special chilli and lime seasoning and oven baked slowly. The peanuts are lightly salted and baked. The nuts are then mixed in with the chilli corn kernels to create the perfect blend of citrus and spice that will leave taste buds tingling.
Oven Baked Salted Cashews & Peanuts
The cashews and peanuts are baked separately with just the right amount of sprinkled salt (that stays on the nut) to produce the perfect ‘crunch’ and a deeply satisfying savoury hit.
Both flavours from Liberation are delicious but I have to say my favourite is the Chilli and Lime Cashews with Peanuts and Roasted Corn. I thoroughly enjoyed these nuts and adored the taste. I would definitely buy them again.
Liberation Fairtrade nuts are available in selected Waitrose stores from August.
