Intotheblue is a fantastic website full of experiences and days out to keep any child or adult entertained throughout the summer. With over 2,000 experience days available by gift voucher, you will definitely find the perfect gift for family and friends.
Intotheblue is very simple to use. You simply choose the experience you would like and then when the gift vouchers have been purchased, they are sent to either you are the recipient. The choice is yours. The vouchers are presented in a stylish metal box and a personalised message can be printed on the gift vouchers.
Once the gift vouchers have been received, the vouchers need to be activated onto the Intotheblue website. Once they have been successfully activated, the experience can be booked. This is great as the experiences and days out can be booked when the recipient wants.
To book the experience you can simple phone or email the hospitality line stating what experience you are booking for, the date and the time. A confirmation email is then sent to you, that you have to print out and show when attending the experience.
I booked the Shrek’s Adventure with Planet Hollywood experience for a family of four and found the process very simple to do. The vouchers arrived quickly and I could then activate them very easily. Once activated, I emailed through my requirements and within two days I was sent a confirmation email stating my experience had been booked. I then needed to change the timings of the experience and phoned the hospitality line. The lady on the phone was extremely polite and helpful and changed the timings without any problems. I thought their customer service was brilliant.
On the day I showed the confirmation emails to both venues and enjoyed both experiences.
The meal at Planet Hollywood was delicious. We had a set menu given to us but still had a good choice of food. The experience included a three course meal which was wonderful. The courses were all adult portions so the children with us had plenty to eat- as did the adults! The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our experience very enjoyable.
Shrek’s Adventure was brilliant and the children absolutely loved it. We all became part of a Shrek story where we met lots of the different Shrek characters. The adventure started with a 4D bus ride which was amazing. The effects were incredible and it started the adventure extremely well. We then had to escape being chased by Rumplestiltskin and his witches! We were then taken to places from the Shrek films including Shrek’s swamp and The Poison Apple Pub. The actors were fantastic and really made the experience feel very realistic. At the end of the adventure we also got to meet Shrek himself!
